After a brief description of the design, the video gives a quick look of the new features. It begins explaining the Air Command that can be accessed by hovering the S Pen on the screen and pressing its built-in button. Air Command is a menu which shows five handy features including Action memo, Scrapbook and S Window. Action Memos turn handwritten scribbles into action like scribbling a number to save it in contacts. The Scrapbook feature allows users to simply circle content using the S Pen and save it in any of the Scrapbook categories. One can even save YouTube videos in a similar manner. The video also shows off the new S Note version. Another interesting feature is Pen Window, which allows drawing a little area on the screen to float a mini-app atop it.
After demonstrating the features of the Note 3, Samsung showcases the Galaxy Gear. The smartwatch connects to the phone via Bluetooth 4.0. It lets you make calls using S Voice and also lets you receive calls. The video shows the Gear Manager feature that lets one personalise the smartwatch. For instance, personalise the face/homescreen of the smartwatch. There?s also a camera on the Galaxy Gear that you can use to shoot pictures and record important information. The watch comes with a 1.9-megapixel shooter which will be placed on the wristband. The camera works with the Memographer feature which also lets you make quick notes and takes voice memos.
