Louisville Vocal Project & Bellarmine University Music Department

In 2009, a group of musicians came together to create an ensemble that would address a repertoire and aesthetic much neglected in the modern world. This would be a chamber group for the purposes of flexibility, and a professional group to assure the quality of performances. The Louisville Vocal Project (LVP) was founded in order to perform primarily a cappella music consisting of renaissance works, music of lesser-known composers, and newly composed music in the tradition of this original vocal canon.
