Bosses at a food company have paid tribute to David Hasselhoff by launching a frozen sweet treat in his honour.
The former Baywatch star has been voted the smoothest person on British TV in 2011 and to celebrate, staff at Del Monte Iced Refreshment fashioned an ice lolly in his likeness.
The purple smoothie popsicle is shaped like Hasselhoff's upper body and was released to mark National Ice Cream Week in the U.K. earlier this month.
Hasselhoff posted a link to a YouTube clip about the lolly on his Twitter.com page, adding, "Check out my Hoff iced lolly! Hoffalicious. Del Monte rocks! The new Hoffsicle ice lolly! Like me, it might take a licking but it keeps on ticking!"
Bond star Daniel Craig has previously been honoured with an ice lolly likeness by the company.
