FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants formally introduced Conner Henry as new head Tuesday.
Henry was introduced at a press conference at Memorial Coliseum.
Henry comes to Fort Wayne from Los Angeles, where he was an interim head coach and assistant coach for for the NBA Development League's D-Fenders.
He also served as an assistant for the D-League Select Team and the NBA Summer League in 2012.
Prior to the D-League, Henry coached in Australia: as an assistant and head coach of the Perth Wildcats and as an assistant for the Sydney Kings.
Henry played ten seasons of professional basketball, including two in the NBA. He played his collegiate basketball at the University of California-Santa Barbara.
The Mad Ants open their seventh season on Fri., Nov. 22 at Frisco. The home opener is 7:30 p.m. on Fri., Nov. 29 at the Coliseum.
